Fire TV Issues: How to Clear the Cache

If you’re experiencing issues with a Fire TV app such as crashing, not working, content not loading, lag, or slow speeds, clear the cache. When you download an app, it temporarily stores data on your device- cache. Issues occur when a cache becomes too big; clearing it improves performance.

Follow these steps to clear the cache:

1. Select Settings from the device home screen.

2. Select Applications.

3. Select Manage Installed Applications

4. Select an app to clear its cache.

5. Select Clear cache


If the app still doesn't work properly, repeat these steps and select Clear data.>To clear cache for other apps: >press Back>select app>select Clear cache
